A complete facelift of a typical Ranch house creates a Mediterranean style home ideal for entertaining and hosting visiting family.
Designed for a family of four, the scope included a 5600 sq. ft. main house and a 500 sq. ft. detached guest house. The 1.2 acre lot has a commanding view of San Francisco Bay, and the house is fully surrounded by landscaping.
The design concept is simple resolution of volumes with traditional forms.
