This front façade redesign and complete interior remodel transformed an existing California bungalow into a refined Arts and Crafts-style home.

The house was designed for a young couple with two small children, and the client's program called for an open layout for family entertainment.

The period living room was left intact, and carefully chosen details provide a sense of continuity with the historical past.
